2010...What a year. So many things happened. Life changing events. Unfortunately, most not so good...but I won't go there, here. The only thing that I will mention is that my camera was stolen on Halloween. So November and December photos were all taken with my point and shoot or my cell phone.

I've gone through many of my photos for 2010 and the ones here are some of my favorites, but by far not all of them.

T oday I am hoping will be the beginning of this blog. I stopped journaling for a while after the disappearance of my journals from over the past 20 years, but realize now that I need this in order to be a mentally healthy person. So hopefully my busy life will not inhibit me from making entries here on a regular basis. I'm hoping to utilize this blog to show some of my photography until my website is up. April is a very sad month...

Unfortunately we lost a very talented photographer and painter this past month, from Lafayette, Louisiana. Kent Hutslar. I was fortunate enough to have met this man via the internet and over the past year have him give me so much help and encouragement with my photography. He will truly be missed. And while the Earth may bear a new hole now that he is gone...the universe is far richer, because now he will be exploring it. Just imagine all the beautiful art he will create out there...
